Scenes, scenes, scenes improv sessions
What is it?
In this session we will take a closer look at what makes a scene a scene. The first half hour will focus on the theory of a scene, discussing the individual elements of what needs to occur in every scene to make it work. We will look at real world examples from movies to get a reference, then we will dive into how to adapt this in an improvisational way.
A good understanding of scene structure will guide improvisers as they navigate building it from scratch, giving them signposts to shoot for along the way.

What shall I expect?
We will build upon our imrpov skills to move into efficient, emotional storytelling that will help in everything from short-form to long-form improv.
We will give you concrete tools you can use in any scenario.
Taking notes is recommended.
